The recent policy update by WhatsApp has caused concern among users around the world. The messenger app owned by Facebook announced that it will start sharing user data with other Facebook businesses as part of their policy change.

With 2 billion monthly active users, WhatsApp is currently the world’s largest messaging service, closely followed by another Facebook-owned chat app, Facebook Messenger with 1.3 billion users. The third biggest app with 1 billion users is WeChat, which is mainly popular in China 1 billion. At just 400 million users, Telegram trails far behind the Big 3.

For WhatsApp users, the policy change has caused a huge storm with a many exploring their options and threatening to leave the app to join rivals such as Telegram. Telegram seems to be loving the backlash WhatsApp is getting, with the messaging service recently sharing a meme of two SpiderMen bearing the Facebook and WhatsApp icons.

Telegram’s standard community capacity is 200. But when this is reached, the group evolves into a 5000-capacity Super Group.

Even if you do not have the contact number of anyone, you can connect with someone by Telegram. This secures the protection of the phone number of the user.

Secret Chat

Secret Chat is a kind of encrypted end-to-end chat in which you can set a timer for the message to self-destruct. When the timer stops, the messages will be immediately deleted.

Telegram is available for Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Windows PC, Mac OS, Linux OS and any browser.
