Midday news wrap: 10 March 2015
Murder-accused Sindy Manqele will get special medical attention from her private doctor at the sun city correctional Center.
Manqele appeared in the alexandra magistrates court dressed in a hoodie, black T-shirt and leggings.
Her lawyer told the court she had sustained bruises and stab wounds to her arms and stomach during the argument that led to the death of her musician boyfriend Flabba.
Through her lawyer, Manqele told the court she was in great pain and needed medical attention by her private doctor.
The magistrate granted the request and the case was postponed to 16 March for bail application.
Disgruntled members of the Alexandra community are calling on the state not to grant here bail….

DA leader in KwaZulu-Natal, Sizwe Mchunu has refuted claims that there are divisions created by contestation ahead of the provincial party conference next month.
It’s been reported that Mchunu has poor relationships with the party leader in eThekwini, Zwakele Mncwango.
Mncwango, who will challenge Mchunu for his position during the conference on April 25, had lodged a complaint against Mchunu.
Recently Mchunu formed a Sizwe Mchunu for Leader WhatsApp team to help him campaign for the conference.
