The Joburg Film Festival (JFF) is inspired by the creative vision of Global story telling with a focus on the African continent and its diaspora.
In addition to showcasing the best films from South Africa and the rest of the world, the Joburg Film Festival provides educational opportunities for aspirant film makers and offers market and networking opportunities to film professionals.
This Festival is a platform for filmmaking talent to interact and connect with established film industry practitioners and key decision makers from across the globe.

The first Joburg Film Festival, set to run from the 28 October to the 5 November 2016, will provide an exciting and progressive platform where South African and African excellence in cinematography can be showcased and rewarded.
Johannesburg truly is the world-class African city that can offer African cinematography a gateway to global reach and exposure. The festival will provide a space for African film-makers to assert themselves artistically on the international film scene.
