WIN: A bottle from Aslina by Ntsiki Biyela
12 February 2018 COMPETITIONS
On Saturday we hosted the first public screening of “The Colour of Wine” and were astounded by the wonderful turnout. The screening wasn’t just about sitting and watching the film, it was also about appreciating wine. Attendees of the event were treated to a selection of wines produced by Ntsiki Biyela and Dumisani Mathonsi — both of whom are featured on “The Colour of Wine” — respectively
As planned, we kicked the afternoon off with a screening of “The Colour of Wine” the documentary directed by Akin Omotoso. The screening was followed by a panel discussion featuring Omotoso, Biyela and Mnikelo Mangciphu, which was chaired by Kojo Baffoe. The panel discussion shed more light on the documentary with attendees joining for a Q&A.
After the panel, Ntsiki Biyela treated us to a wine tasting featuring the Aslina Sauvignon Blanc 2017. Biyela’s winery, Aslina, was founded in 2013 and is named after her grandmother who raised her.
We’re giving away five Aslina by Ntsiki Biyela bottles of wine! Each of our five winner will receive one bottle. Use the below form to tell us what you thought the first time you tasted wine. The competition closes on Thursday (15 February) with winners announced that afternoon.
