UKZN students want Vice Chancellor to resign
Students of the University of Kwazulu-Natal are continuing with their calls for Vice Chancellor, Dr. Albert van Jaarsveld to resign.
The students accuse Van Jaarsveld of failing to address the issues they have raised.
They also say their SRC to be represented at the executive management committee, which is the highest decision-making body.
Van Jaarsveld, says students have no right to call for his resignation.
UKZN students have been striking over next year’s tuition fee hike.
Damage from the protest has been valued at more than R150-million.
