The aim of the Dreamfields Project is to grow dreams through soccer in our primary schools by providing soccer kits, organizing weekly soccer leagues and upgrading fields. Dreamfields was launched in October 2007, with the support of our founding sponsor BHP Billiton.
So far, Dreamfields has invested more than R28.5-million in communities and schools. Thousands of children now have new soccer uniforms, boots and balls – we have equipped 1 886 teams with DreamBags of kit. We have staged 185 soccer tournaments, organized weekly soccer in the form of DreamLeagues all over South Africa and built 13 new football fields.
So many of the good things in our lives began when we were in primary school – a love of learning new things, the first taste of friendships that could last a lifetime, the special delight of playing sport as part of a team. Don’t you want to give something back to the school that got you started?
Grow Soccer Dreams at Your Old Primary
Dreamfields and Kaya FM believe that we can build better schools through sport, and stronger communities through better schools. Why not boost your old school and change dozens of young lives with a DreamBag? It’s packed full with kit, boots and balls for 15 players – most important, it’s packed full of dreams.
DreamBags cost R7 000 and are supplied in the colour chosen by your old school. Get your old classmates together and make a big difference with a small contribution.
