Parliament workers continue strike
Parliament workers affiliated to the National Health and Allied Workers Union have ignored a call to end their strike action.
They have downed tools for the second day now.
Yesterday parliament warned that it would be taking action against any striking workers.
Workers are demanding that no money be deducted from their salaries this month.
The deductions all relate to time spent away from work during last year’s strike.
They also want colleagues who were suspended to be reinstated and charges of misconduct against them withdrawn.
