About Nicky B
Q & A:
How much does your imagination weigh? Imagination cannot be measured – that is its beauty!
What is your idea of heaven? Health, happiness, love and prosperity altogether, and in abundance now = HEAVEN! […and a little chocolate will help too…]
You wouldn’t be caught dead, where? I wouldn’t be caught dead answering a ‘Q& A’ list that limits my choices and restricts my answers with ‘either/or’ questions….
When the light turns green at the traffic lights, you… simply respond by moving forward…but when all the lights on the journey are green, you know you’re in tune with wherever you are meant to be!
How do you cheer yourself up when you’re feeling blue? First, assess whether it’s simply exhaustion – which a good sleep can cure…but if that’s not it, then: Change spaces… shift the focus! Do something unrelated to that which is worrying…it could be exercise, an inane activity, chatting to a friend, entering a different environment or a good laugh! [And although diversion may not be the solution, one usually returns to the problem with more clarity.
If you had to verbalize a slogan for your life – something you live by, like a principle – what would it be? There are many slogans that ring true for me, but for now, here are two:
“Faith is the bird that feels the light and sings when the dawn is still dark.” - Rabindranath Tagore
“The most wasted of all days is one without laughter” ee cummings

Judge for the Kora All African Music Awards and the South African Music Awards.
I also did some research and wrote musician’s biographies, profiles and relevant information for CD sleeves.
I’ve done a bit of music research and music selection for film and television.
I’ve produced, remixed and compiled a variety of CD releases.
She has always been involved and committed to the development of Arts and Culture as a whole in South Africa; and this has extended to include the African continent.
I started working with Kaya on the World Show in 1997, when Kaya FM was launched. The show’s popularity has strengthened phenomenally since then, and more than 14 years later.
