Q & A:

What is your idea of heaven? Being at peace and laughing from the depth of my heart.

Most hated chore on the chore list? Corny as it sounds, I try to enjoy everything I do, especially if it has to be done and can only be done by me at that time.

What is one thing you miss as a kid but no longer do or can do? Eat my favourite foods and only stop because I’ve got a stomach ache.

Who or which was one of your favourite musical groups when you were in middle school? Brenda Fassie and The Big Dudes as well as Sister Sledge.

What do you consider your greatest achievement? Creating a space that can be called a home for my family while getting to do the work that I love.

Career History:

1996

Radio Presenter at Voice of Soweto

2000

Began commercial radio with Kaya FM before moving to the SABC where I worked as a talk show host for SA FM.

During this period I was juggling my radio work with television, hosting shows such as SABC 2′s predecessor to Morning Live, The Breakfast Club, music shows Midday Breeze and SABC 1′s popular choral music show Unqambothi – Sweet Music.

2010

Back at KAYA FM hosting an evening talk show called HOME where I deal with family related matters.
