          Sorry to hear that, its unfortunate after so many years you’ve been together and you were with him knowing that he was not working and you did not mind all of that because you loved the brother and now…..

          But give him time hopefully he will wake up and realise that he belongs with you and not anybody else, throuhg richer or poorer.

              As to how long you wait for him that i cant answer, but it will all come from your mind and heart, i can imagine its difficult letting go a relationship of 12 yrs with a person you thought you knew. But the time will come when you will have to let go eventually especially if the guy is not coming to the party. I would suggest give him 3 months and see what happens and keep communication open so that he remembers that you are still around, if after 3 months nothing happens, then you cant waste your time any longer, you’ve got to move on.
