Melisizwe Computer Lab
The Melisizwe Computer Lab Project has provided access to the subject Computer Application Technology better known as CAT to thousands of learners in Gauteng since 2012. By building fully functional computer labs for underprivileged and impoverished schools, we’ve opened doors of opportunity through employment, entrepreneurship and tertiary education by giving them computer skills. Our goal is to reach 67 schools by July 2018, we have managed to raise funds for 4 schools so far leaving us with 63 more to go. Join us in association with Kaya FM as we raise funds to reach 67 schools. Your contribution can change a life!
On 30 June 2017, Lancea Vale Secondary School became the first of 67 schools sponsored by the Melisizwe Computer Lab Project to receive a fully functional computer lab so that learners can access Computer Application Technology (CAT) as part of their curriculum. With 3 additional schools sponsored, we hope to raise funds to reach 63 schools more schools by July 2018.
The objective of the campaign is to give underprivileged learners a head start in life by giving them access to computer learning thereby opening the doors of employment and entrepreneurship after school or making their studies easier in tertiary institutions. With the support of partners, we can reach our goal and open the doors of opportunity for these learners. Help us by sponsoring a computer lab.
