MADONSELA RELEASES LONG AWAITED PRASA REPORT
Public Protector Thuli Madonsela has pointed the finger at former PRASA CEO Lucky Montana, saying he improperly awarded tenders and is also guilty of maladministration. Madonsela wants a forensic report to be conducted on the awarding of contracts worth over R10 million, which were issued between April 2012 and June 2015.
The Public Protector investigated 37 complaints against PRASA and Montana. She says in seven cases she couldn’t make findings, because documents were not provided. Thuli Madonsela released her long awaited report into the Passenger Rail Agency of SA toda
The release of the public protector’s report has twice been delayed, as top management at the agency engaged in a vicious public spat.
