Let’s Play a Million

Let’s Play, Kaya FM, UNICEF and Super Sport, along with other radio stations
to raise 1 MILLION Soccer Balls

LET THE CHILDREN PLAY
It is well documented that children who participate in regular sports activity produce better academic results, are healthier, get less involved with negative influences such as crime and drugs, and benefit from raised self-esteem and confidence.

Lets Play is about enabling children to live healthier lives - through a shared vision and a network of partners and facilitators, to let the kids get back into the fresh air and out of breath! For the first time, Let’s Play, SuperSport and various regional radio stations, backed by UNICEF, are joined together in a project called “Let’s Play a Million”.

Let’s Play a Million involves a call to the general public as well as our private sector to support and donate the Rand equivalent of one million soccer balls via an SMS campaign as well as a national telethon, implemented in each region by partnering radio stations in various regions and supported by an awareness drive on the SuperSport channels.
