KAYA FM dedicates 67 minutes for Mandela Day at Villa of Hope
Kaya FM radio personalities and staff spent their 67 minutes for Mandela Day at the Villa of Hope in Eldorado Park. As part of the Kaya Care’s initiative staff worked together to celebrate volunteers whose work often goes unrewarded. Villa of Hope volunteers were treated to a braai as well as a pamper session during a live broadcast of Kaya Central with Mo-G.
Villa of Hope social upliftment and development initiative gives care to those children who have been orphaned or require alternative care due to abuse, neglect, and abandonment. The Centre cares for children that are affected or infected by HIV and AIDS and other ill circumstances.
The shelter and youth centre presently provides shelter for children between the ages of 1 and 18 years of age. The children were placed by organisations such as Child line, CPU, SAP and Child welfare Dept.
Should you want to help the Villa of Hope, you can make donations or offer any assistance in future, you can call them on 011 342 6178.
