Earlier this week Autism South Africa pulled their awareness campaign because many people complained that it was using too much shock value to get the message across. Also this week the ANC is contesting the DA’s advertising campaign using airtime vouchers. Today Kaya Central debates the various methods of advertising (besides radio & TV or print media) to find out what you consider to be appropriate or not and why. Joining the team in studio after 5pm is Garth Maluleke the founder of ‘street cred’ transit advertising which uses branded trucks to deliver a message of brand awareness.
