Wet-Nes-Day

This is the wettest day of the week! It's always bordering on controversy but listeners enjoy it extremely. Wet-nes-day looks at sexual health and relationships. It brings private issues that we may think we go through all alone, to the fore and what listeners discover is that they are not alone. It's always entertaining and it well-positioned on a Wednesday because we then get to punt and throw-forward to "What's Your Take" with Masechaba, because on Wednesday she has a show with sexologist Dr. Elna McIntosh in the evening.

This is where T speaks to Fentselite, the show’s producer, about the topic of the day before they do the Ten Seconds Challenge Competition, which is when we experience high phone calls because listeners are trying their luck at winning the Jackpot, which increases daily!

09:40:00: The Three T spoons
This has become such a listener favorite; it is where T shares tips, advice or any witty or educational knowledge about the chosen topic. The 3 T Spoons is more like T's 2-cent's worth advice on the day's topic and listeners can get these on our website as well and get to share them with friends and colleagues.

10:05:00: My Top Ten
This is by far the time when we enjoy the most listenership across the station. This is every listener's favorite. We invite listeners to email their choice of music and we get to dedicate the entire hour to one chosen listener's Top Ten songs. Radio enjoys most listenership when a listener is made a "celebrity". Listeners relate with that because they look forward to hear who it is, if they know them and whether their choice of music differs from theirs. During My Top Ten we get to speak to the listener whose songs we play and we get to also ask them the 3 T-Spoons, which are questions based on the day's theme as well.

This is an uninterrupted music sweep of 4 songs, but the thing with this Marathon is that is follows the Day's Theme and we pick songs that speak to the topic being discussed and this anchors the theme more. This allows the listener to "relate" to the songs differently because they now see what the song says and how it fitted into the Day's theme!

11:35:00: Emails
On the show we prioritise the role a listener has to play on the show and every day in the last hour we get to read the listener's emails and this allows the other listeners to get to know other people's take on the subject and to see if they differ or have a lot in common wit other listeners.
