EFF rejects ANC and DA Coalition but offers vote to DA
The EFF will not be forming any coalitions with the ANC or the DA.
Its leader Julius Malema has come out – guns blazing – saying they could not ignore their ideological differences with both parties.
He says the ANC refused to let go of President Jacob Zuma – therefore they could not get in bed with a corrupt party.
“We feel very strong that is not about an individual but it’s about this corruption that president Jacob Zuma is promoting in the country. We are happy to announce that there is no deal between the EFF and the ANC” he said.
Malema went on to say they will never give their vote to the ANC – but will instead vote for the DA in all Gauteng metros.
In Kwazulu Natal where there are hung municipalities -they will direct their votes to the IFP.
He says they could not agree with the DA as well.
“ we also asked them to nationalize the mines, banks which are owned predominantly by while males, therefore we could not find each other with the DA. We are happy to say to our people that we won’t be going into a coalition will anyone” he said.
The EFF leader then confirmed that the party will be assuming its seats as an opposition.
