ANC says President Zuma won’t step down
While the ANC has taken full responsibility for its poor performance in the local government elections….
The National Executive Committee ended its four day meeting yesterday and concluded that President Jacob Zuma will not step down from his position.
ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantanshe says voters have given the party a wake-up call in its worst showing at the polls since 1994.
Meanwhile ANC head of campaigns Nomvula Mokonyane has been left in the cold regarding claims she made about her party spending R1 billion for the local government elections.
Mantashe says the ANC did not spend anywhere near R1 billion.
