ANC Branch Renews Call For President Zuma to Resign
The Sefako Makgatho ANC branch in Johannesburg has called for the establishment of a task team of stalwarts to take the ANC to a national consultative conference.
The branch says president Jacob Zuma and the national executive committee should resign.
The branch covers Doornfontein and parts of Berea, Hillbrow and Joubert Park.
Branch chairperson Sasabona Manganye says in April they wrote to secretary general Gwede Mantashe calling for Zuma, both as president of the country and the ANC, to be removed from office or face internal committees.
Manganye told Kaya News that they did not get a satisfactory response from all the members of the national executive committee.
