NO ARRESTS TO BE MADE AFTER SCHOOL RAPE INCIDENT
No arrests will be made in the rape of two school girls by fellow learners at a Vosloorus Pimary school.
Six boys aged seven to ten allegedly sexually assaulted two Grade 2 learners in a classroom on Monday – while their teacher had stepped out. The department of education has decided that the boys be suspended while investigations are underway. But parents are up in arms – accusing teachers of not notifying them immediately after the incident.
Yesterday education MEC Panyaza Lesufi and Gauteng premier David Makhura visited the school.
This incident comes on the back of another which occurred at a Pretoria school in almost two months ago. In Pretoria four girls were also raped by fellow learners.
